Leadership Transition Program: Leading Others

Guiding people through the passage from individual contributor to first-time leader

TNM Coaching’s Leadership Transition: Leading Others program is grounded in the Leadership Pipeline model developed by HR expert Walt Mahler, which outlines six key passages that leaders must navigate throughout their careers — from leading oneself, to leading others, leading leaders, leading a function, leading a business, and ultimately leading the enterprise.

This first leadership transition — from managing oneself to managing others — is often the most difficult. Many new leaders struggle to let go of what made them successful as individual contributors. Instead, they must adopt a new mindset, develop core communication and organisational skills, and begin focusing on team success over personal achievement. This transition can be both stressful and transformative.

Our Leading Others program prepares new leaders for this pivotal moment. It equips them with the work values, time application strategies, and leadership skills they need to thrive from day one.
