Who this program is for

Everyone needs to employ leadership skills, regardless of their role, to make sense of situations, to be active problem solvers, to influence and engage others and much more.

All of the knowledge and skills encompassed in the Human Leader program are as relevant for a senior leader as they are for a leader of others (manager), specialist or team contributor.

Drawing on state-of-the-art knowledge and practices from many fields including organisational psychology and integral development, this transformational growth program reframes and rejuvenates the concept of leadership for our times by creating truly human leaders.

The experience is designed to appeal to the participant’s rational mind as much as their emotional mind, to their attention to detail as much as their ‘big picture’ awareness, and to their inner self as much as the external world. It is as informative as it is experiential.

Each session focuses on a uniquely human ability (a ‘power’) with a view to understanding how we work and how we can develop these aspects of ourselves to become a fully operational human leader.

Learning outcomes

The future will always be uncertain: new technology is emerging daily, we’re facing rapidly changing climates in the economic and natural world, and Mother Nature delivers us the occasional surprise.

To survive, we need to understand and make better use of those skills and abilities which make us uniquely human.

For that reason, on completion of the program, participants will embody the role of a human leader who can:

  • read context well,
  • make sense of the changes in our world,
  • predict and plan,
  • spark imaginations,
  • exercise agility; and
  • meaningfully connect with and inspire others.

How participants learn

Learning for the Human Leader program can take several formats.

The Complete Human Leader (*Recommended)
This comprehensive version can take place face-to-face or in a virtual space with continuous coaching sessions to integrate learning.

It’s an insightful blend of presentation, facilitation, coaching, journaling and action learning that form an inspirational experience where participants are encouraged to think critically and investigate with curiosity.

Making the best use of the relationships around them, attendees will be in contact with each other for peer coaching throughout the program, consistently developing their coaching and communication skills and supporting their development.

Further group integration and optional one-to-one coaching with the facilitators are also offered to accelerate personal development and overcome any persistent obstacles to growth.

Specially curated learning resources, tools and materials are also provided to help participants deepen the knowledge and skills that are most relevant to themselves and their organisation.

Virtual or Face-to-Face – Customised
Virtual: 
The virtual version is delivered over 12 weeks to allow sufficient time for active learning, peer-peer coaching and reflection.

The virtual sessions are designed to be fun and invigorating and involve presentation, facilitation, group coaching and interactive exercises.

Delivery includes:

  • 7 x 4-hour group virtual sessions for up to 18 people
  • 1 x 90-minute virtual introduction group session
  • 2 x 90-minute virtual integration group sessions

*Optional extra: three to four sessions of 60-minute virtual one-to-one integration coaching for those that may benefit.

Face to Face:
The face-to-face intensive learning experience takes place over three full days in a venue of your choice.

Designed to connect, invigorate and inspire, each session makes the best use of our natural learning styles: to learn together in living, dynamic groups. These sessions are fun and engaging, involving presentation, facilitation, group coaching, group exercises and games.

Delivery includes:

  • 3 x full days for up to 18 people
  • 1 x 90-minute virtual introduction group session
  • 2 x 90-minute virtual integration group sessions

Optional extra: 3 to 4 sessions of 60 min virtual one-one integration coaching for those who may benefit.

Completely Customised
We can create a variation on the above according to individual or organisational needs.
Modules can also be delivered as stand-alone sessions – just ask us how.
