Learning outcomes

After completing this program, participants will:

  • know how to structure and conduct a successful coaching conversation.
  • understand the important role self-awareness and mindset play in the role of a coach.
  • easily recognise when coaching adds value and when it doesn’t.
  • have a toolbox of techniques plus the competence and confidence to implement your insights when working with others.

How participants learn

This foundation coaching skills course includes a mix of input sessions, discussions, learning exercises, coaching scenarios for practice, and coaching demonstrations by the program facilitator.

The program runs over a four-week period and is easy to fit around participants’ other commitments. It includes:

  • Two 2-hour virtual sessions, facilitated by one of our ICF-accredited coach-trainers
  • Preparation and practice in between sessions using materials on our online learning platform

Participants are also encouraged to share their journey with a network of peers who are eager to learn with them.
