Accelerate Talent is a talent acceleration program that does exactly what it says: it enhances and speeds up the development of talent into your future leaders. The curriculum enables high-potential individuals to make the right shifts to lead your organisation by coaching, nurturing and integrating three critical aspects:

  • Personality: emotions, attitudes, behaviours, and natural ability.
  • Performance: their current set of skills and competencies and how they apply them.
  • Potential: their capacity for growth and development or coming into being.

This program is targeted at the talent that you’ve identified whose current performance and future potential as a leader would benefit from a strong personal foundation of self-awareness and self-leadership, and a new toolbox of business skills.

What to expect on this program

Our talent acceleration program is based on cutting-edge leadership theory and practice that forms the foundation of modern leadership for the new Epoque.

It incorporates an organisational leadership framework and inspires the integration of key leadership behaviours in everyday work life.

Module 1
Participants become acquainted with their inner thoughts and feelings, learn to understand their inner world and become conscious of how this impacts their experience as a leader.

Module 2
Participants understand how they impact and interact with the world around them, and the extent to which the way they present themselves affects their ability to inspire and influence others.

Business project sessions
Delivered during both modules, these sessions are the practical thread that delivers specific solutions and supports participants as they develop individual business projects. These sessions focus on the three essential tools used to identify, distinguish and implement strategic business initiatives:

  • Scenario Modeling to uncover future opportunities and answer the questions: “Is this a viable initiative? Why?”
  • Strategy Canvas to differentiate the product and define what the product is.
  • Must-Win Battle thinking to create momentum and identify a path for success for the product.

They’ll explore and implement new skills, and work toward the final event featuring a poster trade show and project presentations in front of an invited audience of senior leaders.

Learning outcomes

More of an experience than a course, participants will strive to:

  • understand their strengths, competencies and areas for development;
  • understand their organisation’s culture and how to contribute to building it;
  • develop leadership qualities, skills and abilities in an organic and creative way;
  • be inspired to innovate leadership practices and skills in meaningful ways;
  • shift their self-awareness so their presence becomes one of a powerful leader; and
  • integrate a new leadership mindset in their daily life.

As a result of active involvement, participants will be ready to:

  • use their self-awareness to enhance their current and future performance;

  • realise their potential as future leaders; and
  • activate the necessary leadership mindset, skills and abilities to contribute to the success of their organisation.

How participants learn

This talent acceleration program involves a series of challenging activities, insightful assessments, experiential learning and coaching. Each element of the program builds on an individual’s natural ability, whilst developing their future potential.

Participants undertake a simulated interview for a job at a higher level, create a dynamic video CV, practice networking, and develop a business project to be presented at the end of the program.

The virtual and online elements of the program extend the learning from classroom sessions and business projects and are directly linked to participants’ preparation for face-to-face modules and the closing event.

Virtual sessions are designed as mini masterclasses that sharpen specific skills and focus on the following areas: creating an impression, interviewing, presenting, influencing and networking.
