Equipping managers and leaders with potent coaching skills for incredible results
“This program got me to realise that as a leader I did not have to have all the answers or be an expert in everything my team does … but my role was rather to coach for success and deliver through others.“
~Peter M.
This interactive and concentrated digital coaching skills course gives your managers and leaders a solid foundation in coaching for the workplace that will help them bring out the best in their team.
Beginning with an interactive micro-learning journey and ending with a one-day practice workshop, Being a Coach – Digital teaches participants the essential skills and techniques of effective performance coaching.
They’ll learn: how to use powerful questioning to help others find their own answers; how to use coaching in their communication with team members on a daily basis; and how to structure and conduct a successful coaching conversation.
They will also be introduced to the important role that self-awareness and mindset play in coaching and will learn to easily recognise when coaching adds value and when it doesn’t.
It’s a potent experience that will wake your managers and leaders up to the power of coaching in the workplace – without minimal interruption to their busy working lives.
Who this program is for
This program is suitable for managers of all levels, regardless of team size, who want to develop their skillset beyond standard management techniques to foster deeper and more productive relationships with their team.
What to expect on this program
Through a combination of self-paced digital learning and virtual sessions with TNM’s ICF-accredited coaches, participants will learn and practice the key coaching skills they need to grow people and develop their people.
It’s an interactive and intense masterclass in the use of coaching not as a singular skill, but as a leadership style.
Participants will explore coaching through these aspects:
- The coach’s toolkit
- Coaching models for the workplace
- Coaching mindset and self-awareness
- Coaching demonstrations and practice exercises
Learning outcomes
Participants will leave the program skilled and empowered to:
- Build rapport and trust with their team members
- Create the space needed to coach
- Coach others to find solutions for themselves instead of giving them the answers
- Give feedback that makes a difference
- Coach others to increase focus, engagement and impact
- Coach underperformance
- Support others to realise their full potential
- Manage the coaching process and implement accountability structures
This program was useful, and very practical. The biggest learning for me was: instead of solving problems and providing solutions, I can ask powerful questions to develop the problem-solving skills of my team.
~Anna Scott – UK
