Daniel is a facilitator, corporate cultural strategist and professionally certified coach with a passion for impactful transformation in business and life. Born in New York and currently living in Berlin, he founded his own consultancy, MOVE Leadership, in 2010. Before starting his consultancy, Daniel studied psychology and economics in Boston and worked for several organizations.
Along the way, he gained inspiration from a variety of sources. His work with post-genocide communities in Cambodia taught him the power of the arts in facilitating difficult conversations. When running a hotel in Morocco, Daniel experimented with multi-disciplinary methods for developing presence and connection. As a professional ballroom and swing dancer, he cultivated an understanding of leadership — and followership. Daniel’s coaching certification brought to life the impact of powerful questions and deep listening. His work as a facilitator with the Presencing Institute, Theory U, Social Presencing Theater and a handful of mentors demonstrated the value of systemic thinking, mindfulness, masterful facilitation and innovation.
Working in both English and German, Daniel’s coaching style pushes the thinking boundaries of his clients and has them connecting to themselves in ways unlike any they’ve experienced before. Using methods that activate the minds, hearts and bodies of his clients, Daniel helps coachees notice shifts in their mindsets and behaviors with notable increases in integrity, coherence and resilience. Through their discoveries, leaders working with Daniel experience better decision making as well as greater well-being, creativity, presence and impact.
