“How do I get the most from my team and optimize the way we work together, and how do I manage our conflicts?”
Teams can be complex entities and don't always work at optimum levels. This seminar helps teams re-align, optimize and rebuild. This off-site approach allows teams to take time away from the workplace for a fresh perspective. The MBTI and the Thomas Kilman are used as well as brainstorming, games, role-play and goal setting. This helps sort out issues, propose new ideas, look to the future, and understand the team's raison d'être, mission and vision. Teams come away with a sense of focus, increased confidence and are prepared for the real "game" ahead.
The MBTI identifies an individual's preferred style of communication and provides guidance on how they can modify that style to be more effective and avoid areas of misinterpretation between people of different types. Prior to the seminar, participants go online and take the MBTI in their preferred language. The facilitator conducts a 30-minute interview with each participant and then prepares the aggregate MBTI information creating a team profile and team similarity index. At the offsite, each participant receives a printed report with his or her personality preference, also called the “type”.
During the seminar the Thomas Kilman is used to safely open a discussion about conflict, to reveal patterns and look at instances when one conflict behavior is productive and when choosing another style would be more effective. A thirty-question profile, benefits of the TKI tool are:

The MBTI is systematically debriefed, providing a logical, coherent structure into work-related activities. By aggregating individual MBTI scores, a team score and team similarity index are produced, providing a valuable tool for analyzing team effectiveness and development areas. Understanding individual differences also help teams identify the particular talents that each individual brings to their role, thus reducing potential sources of misunderstanding and conflict.
