The Creative Presence program encourages mental flexibility through creative and experiential exercises helping to reduce the impact of mental rigidity.
The facilitator moves the group from a general discussion of the nature of creativity (abstract), through illustrations (examples of famous creative figures and business professionals), to a realization of the power of creativity in their own work situations (concrete and personal).
Following this part of the course the facilitator introduces a simple model of the creative process (Graham Wallis) and leads the group in short exercises and debriefs to ensure active learning. The final debrief includes a plan of action with a commitment to use creative techniques consciously.
The Creative Presence program is open to all members of staff committed to their work. The workshop is especially suited to experienced managers and team leaders who can integrate the techniques of the Creative Presence course into their own leadership style.
